A factory worker in Kentucky, 29-year-old Jason Sholar, died on March 7 due to an on-the-job accident. No information has been released regarding the particulars of his death. However, it is known that his body was pinned underneath a machine at the Martinrea factory where he was employed as a maintenance apprentice. Sholar was transported to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, he passed away later that evening in the emergency room due to his serious injuries.

Nashville’s WTVF-TV reports that Martinerea is an industrial plant that manufactures car parts out of aluminum. An ongoing investigation into the cause of wrongful death is underway by authorities. Because Sholar’s death is associated with injuries sustained while on-the-job, his family may be entitled to file for compensation through workers comp. Although money can never replace our loved ones, it does ensure that the families of victims that suffer a fatality while working have what they need in order to concentrate on piecing their lives back together.

If you were injured in an accident at your workplace because of someone else’s negligence and sustained traumatic brain injury, or you hurt your spinal cord in a slip and fall accident, you may be entitled to compensation. Our Nashville injury lawyer wants to help you hold the person or business(es) accountable in order to cover your medical bills, lost wages and suffering. Talk with us about the injuries you have sustained during a free consultation and evaluation of your case. Call our law firm today at }.
