Emergency crews reportedly had to cut the doors off the cruiser in order to get the trooper out. “Everyone was OK except my mom. Her back was hurting, and my brother’s girlfriend was in the car and her legs, chest and head are hurting, but everybody else was OK,” a passenger in the van told WSMV.
The crash remains under investigation. Officials have not said yet whether the sheriff’s deputy was transporting anyone or why they were in Davidson County, according to WSMV.
