A man was killed on October 27 in a Murfreesboro motorcycle accident when a vehicle failed to yield to his right of way. Motorcyclist DeMorris Webb, 26, was attempting to make a right onto Indian Hills when a car in the oncoming lane failed to yield and pulled directly into Webb’s path. Webb attempted to brake and laid the bike over, sliding into the side of the oncoming vehicle.
Webb was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and later flown by Life Flight to Vanderbilt where he was pronounced deceased. At the time of this report, charges have not been filed against the driver of the vehicle responsible for the accident and an investigation is still ongoing.
