According to WTVF-TV, one person was killed and six others were injured in a head-on car accident in Rutherford County on February 17.
The station reported that the crash happened just before noon, near the 7200 block of Old Nashville Highway and Amanda Way in Murfreesboro. One of the cars involved in the accident had six people occupying it.
An official with Rutherford County Emergency Management told WTVF that one person died at the scene. LifeFlight took two others to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. At least one of those injured was reported in critical condition, according to the source.
As of last week, officials were still investigating the accident and a cause had not yet been determined.
