No one was home when the crash occurred. Witnesses said they saw debris and smoke coming from the home.
“We were scared it was going to catch on fire. We rushed to get a fire extinguisher while some guys from the electric company tried to get the driver out of the car and make sure she was ok,” witness Nakia Rose told WTVF.
Can I Sue a Driver If They Crash Into Me?
Luckily, no one was injured in this crash. Although a cause for this crash has not been determined, common causes of vehicle accidents include speeding and/or reckless driving, alcohol impairment, disregarding traffic signals and medical emergencies.
Additionally, car accidents resulting from defective parts are common. Vehicle accidents can lead to catastrophic injuries like paralysis, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and burns.
These types of injuries can be expensive to treat, as they require physical therapy and rehab. That is why it is in your best interest to seek legal representation if another driver has injured you or killed a loved one.
