Each year, hundreds of train accidents occur in Tennessee. These accidents can include crashes with other vehicles, derailments and other forms of collisions.

Unfortunately, on September 23, a man died when his motorcycle collided with a train near downtown Nashville. According to the Tennessean, the crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. near the corner of Hermitage and Cauley avenues.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing—as of last week, no further information had been released to the media.
